even if i’m not the one to make you smile
even if i’m not the one you love the most
even if i’m not happy for myself
i’ll make sure i’m happy for you.
once
you have broken me all the way down.
down upon my knees.
and you have broken me all the way down.
you’ll be the last, you’ll see.
some fight you gave
and i pushed you away
from me.
and in the morning when you turn in
i’ll be far to sea.
and you have broken me all the way down.
you’ll be the last, you’ll see.
and what chance have we got
when you’ve missed every shot
for me?
and in the morning when you turn in
i’ll be out of reach.
and in the darkness when you find this
i’ll be far to sea.
and you have broken me all the way down.
you’ll be the last, you’ll see.
international film festival report – part two.
i’m not there

it is the best and most misunderstood movie of the year.
the way of portraying the six segments is ingenious.
the cinematographer incorporates so many visual styles and
the aesthetic brilliance of the unusual approach is an art form.
the lines and references are intellectual and original.
the acting from cate blanchett is breathlessly stunning.
she knows how to capture your gaze each moment on scene.
the more films i see cate blanchett in, the more i admire her.
overall, i’m not there is like a great piece of literature.
i am impressed.
